I am back!

Though it is a short trip but it is still a dream come true for me to be able visit Japan. So below are snapshots of my trip:

Arriving at Kansai airport at 6am, Japan time...very bright right?

Our home for the 5days 4 nights - Osaka Daiichi Hotel. Though it is very small but I must say it is very compact and accessible since it is only a few minutes walk from JR Osaka Station and major departmental store.

After leaving our luggage at the hotel, we started our journey to the world heritage site: Himeji Castle via the JR.

After a long ride on the JR, we finally reach the castle. Himeji castle (also known as the white heron castle) is built 400 yrs ago.

Day 2: 1 Day Tour at Kyoto and Nara

We were suppose to visit the Imperial castle, however, the emperor and empress happened to be there and hence it was close for tourist. So we were off to visit Nishi Honganji  instead.

Next stop: Nijo Castle. This is the garden from the Shogun's room.

Final stop at Kyoto before our lunch: Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion)

After lunch, we are off to Nara. Behind is Todaiji Temple. Another world heritage site. Not to forget it is sited in a deer park so we really have to 小心看"鹿" since the 3 of us have certain degree of fear for animals。

Inside the Todaji temple, it house a Great Buddha. It is 15m high and weighs 250tons and is one of the largest gold leaf-covered bronze statues of the Buddha in the world.

After our 1 day tour, we were off to Namba area where we found the delicious ramen - "JinLong"

We spend the our 3rd day at the shopping outlet where we can find discounted japanese brands and some of the major international brands as well. It is here where I bought the CELINE wallet.

Our final night at Osaka. We spend the entire day shopping from Namba - Takashimaya all the way till Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street. Above are my 2 shopping kakis who joined me for this trip.

First time meeting a lady butler so we took a picture with her. Not to mention that she is very helpful and pretty as well.

Though there is still many places that we didn't manage to explore but it is indeed an experience for me and I am so looking for another chance to further explore this beautiful country.

It's been a while since I update on my little darlings...So here we go.

He is such a 大少爷 and a stubborn one. Maybe the saying is correct, good looking people have more character.

I only didn't see her for a few weeks then she has turn to a fine lady. Not to forget, she is so friendly and that make her so likeable. I bet there will be a lot of bees surrounding her when she grow up.

Not to forget she is also full of tricks. See hw her daddy told her to smile and now she just keep doing it.

End note: Kids is a joy to have around and the best medicine to help you destress after a bad day at work. A small action / word from them warms your heart. Will I have my own one day? Only time can tell but I am glad to have this 2 darlings though I only hang out with them once in a while.

Being Away

After I entered the workforce, nothing beats being able to stay away from work. Initially, I thought I wldn't be able to travel for this year because I will be busy shifting to a new place plus my finances will already be exhausted by the move.

Who knows, I actually chance on a very good buy which I can't give up so I will be off to Japan - Osaka, my dream destination for a short trip next week. Yeah!

I will start saving and repaying all my debts after this trip then! Shall update again when I am back in 1 week time. Bye!

The design is nothing fanciful but it is something simple and cosy enough for my family. It is indeed an experience for me as it was damm tiring being a maria cum mover. The only good thing is I don't have to work for 2 weeks.

When I started looking for renovation contractor, I have this fear that I will end up with lots of fustrations like many others. However, my ID, Sean - Senz of white, didn't give me sleepless night throughout the renovation period.  He is a pretty responsible person who will listen to our needs and offer design ideas to meet our needs.
